Women's Department
Greetings from the Women’s Department of Living Faith. The theme of the department is ‘Daughters of the King’. We are dedicated to obeying the Word of God which tells us, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8). We welcome you to join us as we prepare ourselves for an ‘audience with the King’, through the disciplines of prayer, bible study, fasting and fellowship.
Mission: The goal of the Women's department of Living Faith Church is to encourage women, in whatever their season of life, to be Godly women in all that they do. Ministering to the needs of women is part of carrying out the vision of our church “to reach families and individuals who are hurting, feeling like out casts, and questioning their relationship with God”. We are being trained to serve our families, our church, and our community.
Vision: To accomplish this mission we continue to have and are planning the following activities for 2010:
Women’s Bible Study every 2nd and 4th Monday evening from 7-10 pm featuring a one year leadership series titled “Battle Fiel of the Mind
The curriculum includes:
- Bible Study addressing contemporary women’s issues
- Secret Sisters to encourage and pray for one another
- A Spring Women’s Retreat
- Inviting church members, friends, family, and neighbors to Women’s Bible study
- An Annual Women’s Conference held in November
- All are invited
Community service
- Participating in fund-raising events or volunteering service at outreach centers.
Fun & Fellowship activities
- Outings such as visiting amusement parks, concerts, museums, etc.
