Children’s Department

There are so many things in our world that try to pull our children the wrong way. We have to be aggressive in teaching them the right way, Gods way. We have to make sure they understand that they should not wait until they are adults to begin serving the Lord and telling others about Him. With this in mind the mission and goals for the children’s department are as follow.

Mission

• To teach our children the importance of prayer, praise, worship and the word.
• To show the children how they can be bold in their faith.
• To foster an atmosphere of love and acceptance.
• To have fun.

Vision/Goals

• The children have the opportunity to lead each other in prayer and praise and worship during class.
• The children take the scripture they are learning in class home so they can memorize it.
• A bracelet with colored beads is given to each child to aid them in telling others about the love God.
• The children are also encouraged to bring friends to church.
• Crafts and games are used to reinforce lessons

We want our children to have fun but most importantly we want them to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.
